1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SeekConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

SeekConnect is a marketplace platform that connects individuals seeking specific items ("Seekers") with individuals who have those items ("Providers"). We act solely as an intermediary and are not party to any transactions between users.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

3.2 Posting Requirements

  • Seekers must accurately describe items they're looking for
  • Providers must accurately describe items they're offering
  • All descriptions must be truthful and not misleading
  • Images must accurately represent the item

4. Prohibited Items and Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

  • Illegal items (weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items)
  • Regulated items without proper licensing
  • Adult content or services
  • Live animals (except through authorized dealers)
  • Human body parts or remains
  • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Fraudulent or deceptive listings
  • Spam or unsolicited commercial messages

5. Transactions and Payments

5.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. SeekConnect does not store credit card information.

5.2 Transaction Fees

Payment processing fees are charged by Stripe (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). These fees are separate from any platform service fees.

5.3 Seller's Refund Policy

Each seller chooses their refund policy when making an offer ("Refunds Accepted" or "No Refunds"). Buyers must review and accept the seller's refund policy before completing purchase. Disputes should be resolved directly between buyer and seller.

6. Shipping

Sellers are responsible for shipping items to buyers using the shipping address provided during checkout. SeekConnect is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or damaged items. Buyers and sellers should communicate about shipping expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: SeekConnect is a platform that connects users. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of listings or offers
  • The quality, safety, or legality of items
  • The ability of users to complete transactions
  • Shipping, delivery, or condition of items
  • Disputes between buyers and sellers
  • Loss, theft, or damage to items
  • Any actions or omissions of platform users

Users engage in transactions at their own risk. SeekConnect's total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the user to the Platform in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeekConnect, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly. If you have a dispute with another user, please attempt to resolve it amicably. For unresolved disputes, you agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason at our discretion. You may also terminate your account at any time.

11. Changes to Terms
